Women`s Legal Resources Centre

We offer a variety of legal services in the areas of family law, immigration, domestic violence protection orders and employment law. The main areas in which we provide legal assistance include: divorce, custody, child/spousal support, Title IX cases, sexual assault cases, protection orders, and immigration matters. Safe Centre`s Civil Legal Representation Project (CLRP) provides free legal aid, counseling, representation, and referrals to victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking in Central County, including women, men, LGBTQ+, students, immigrants, and seniors. The mission of the Women`s Law Center of Maryland focuses on public policy, advocacy, and research to achieve systemic change. Through its experience working with clients and its knowledge of legal issues and the legal community, WLC identifies and addresses policy initiatives and emerging issues that have profound implications for women`s rights. Inspiring events to network with others who advocate for women`s legal rights. We are advocates, experts and advocates fighting for gender equality and addressing issues that are central to the lives of women and girls. We drive change in the courts, public policy, and our society, especially for women of color, LGBTQ people, and low-income women and families. These areas of law are often complex and emotionally difficult issues that need to be addressed. To achieve the best possible outcome, it is important to have an advocate who has experience in these areas and understands the unique dynamics of domestic violence, sexual assault or stalking. Advocacy and advocacy for gender equality, good governance, democracy, transparency, accountability and a corruption-free society. I would go back to court to fight for my rights and protection. I can`t imagine what it would be like not to have the services available to me through the Women`s Law Center.
